This course will focus on North American Indigenous peoples and the depth and magnitude of the social, political, cultural, and spiritual disruptions that settlement had, and continues to have on Indigenous health and well-being. Students will gain an understanding of the need for Indigenous-led programs, services, and interventions aimed to serve Indigenous populations. Prerequisites: ID120/SOJE120 or PS101 and PS102.
